Dear Heavenly Father,

We cannot imagine the enormous toll of the wildfires in Maui, Hawaii. We grieve for the more than 100 precious souls that have died in this devastating fire, and for their families, friends, and loved ones. For those who survived, we pray for respite as they grieve the total and catastrophic loss of every single thing in their lives. So many have been left with absolutely nothing but the clothes they were wearing when they escaped. Homes and businesses are gone. Pets and animals died. Native flora and historical treasures that were beloved by Hawaii’s residents are lost forever. Father, in Jesus’ name, show yourself strong for the people of Maui and the larger state of Hawaii. Comfort them. Shelter and clothe them. Bring respite from unexpected places. We ask, Father, that you would pour out supernatural relief on everyone affected by the Maui wildfires.
